JAMr FIT is a product of Rettertek LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the JAMr FIT platform ("Service") or when a fitness business using our Service communicates with you.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
Business Data: Fitness businesses using our platform may store member data including names, email addresses, phone numbers, membership status, check-in history, and other business-related information.
Communication Data: We process emails and SMS messages sent through the platform on behalf of our business customers, including message content, delivery status, and opt-in/opt-out preferences.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including log data, device information, and browser type.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To process and deliver email and SMS communications on behalf of our business customers
- To manage user accounts and authentication
- To comply with legal obligations, including messaging consent requirements
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. Data Processing on Behalf of Businesses
JAMr FIT acts as a data processor on behalf of fitness businesses (our customers) who are the data controllers. Each business is responsible for obtaining proper consent from their members before communicating with them via email or SMS through our platform. We process this data only as directed by the business.
4. SMS and Email Communications
If you receive SMS or email messages from a fitness business using JAMr FIT:
- The business is responsible for obtaining your consent to receive messages
- You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP
- You can opt out of email by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message
- Reply HELP to any SMS for assistance
- Message and data rates may apply

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers: Twilio (SMS), SendGrid (email), Supabase (hosting/database), and Cloudflare (CDN) — only as needed to operate the Service
- Business customers: Member data is accessible to the fitness business that manages your account
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect rights and safety
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security policies, and role-based access controls to protect your data.
7. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as the business account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When a business closes their account, associated data is deleted in accordance with our data retention schedule.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Contact the fitness business that manages your information directly, or reach us at privacy@jamrfit.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
