Messaging Terms

These Messaging Terms apply to SMS text messages and email communications sent by fitness businesses through the JAMr FIT platform, a product of Rettertek LLC.
1. Consent
By providing your phone number or email address to a fitness business that uses JAMr FIT, and by agreeing to their terms of service or membership agreement, you consent to receive communications from that business through our platform. These may include:
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Membership status updates and billing notifications
- Promotional offers and marketing messages
- Follow-up messages and customer service communications
- Automated workflow messages (e.g., welcome sequences, missed-visit check-ins)
Each fitness business is responsible for obtaining your consent in accordance with applicable law (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, etc.) before sending you messages.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the fitness business and your interactions. You may receive transactional messages (appointment reminders, account updates) as needed, and marketing messages at the frequency set by the business.
3. Opting Out
SMS: Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe from that business's SMS messages. You will receive a confirmation and no further texts from that number.
Email: Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email to opt out of future marketing emails from that business.
Re-subscribe: To opt back in to SMS, reply START to the same number.
4. Help
Reply HELP to any SMS message for assistance. You can also contact the fitness business directly or email support@jamrfit.com.
5. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to SMS messages. JAMr FIT does not charge recipients for messages, but your carrier may.
6. Supported Carriers
SMS messages are delivered via Twilio and are compatible with all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed.
7. Platform Role
JAMr FIT provides the messaging infrastructure on behalf of fitness businesses. We are a technology platform, not the sender of the messages. The fitness business you are a member of is the sender and is responsible for the content and compliance of their messages.
8. Privacy
Your phone number and messaging data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your phone number or personal information to third parties.
9. Changes
We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
